John has been developing web stuff and other software since 1997 - back in the day when the WWW was really starting to kick off. An ex-teacher of science, electronic engineer and DJ, he's got a broad experience and can bring more than just the ability to write good code to a job.
John is keenly interested in usabability. He's got years of HTML, CSS and Javascript experience - backed by server technologies like ASP.Net, C#, VB, Ruby On Rails, MySQL and SQL Server. Javascript and Ajax are his special skills and he likes nothing better than building a nice custom widget.
John is a bit of a Jazz and Electronica fan, and has recently overcome his fear of folk music and looks forward to listening to his large vinyl record collection a lot more. When not coding, he can be found enjoying local food (wherever he is), shouting at Belper Town FC, appreciating art or playing Guitar Hero on the Wii.
